1. I have had to move a few things. On my old RV I had to relocate the break away switch about an 1" forward. Nothing major, and a lot of flexibilty in where you mount it.
2. No. I've actually climbed up on it and waked the cap (parts I can reach) using it as a scaffold, no movement.
3. No. On the first RV I had I mounted it front of the batteries. It was very close to the snatch up brackets, and I had to be creative in pulling them up the last little bit. This time I mounted it behind the batteries and its got really zero impact on anything. While it did add some tongue weight, actually everything tows better with the extra weight. No adjustments were made.
4. No problem, even the 30lb tanks I have come out with ease. If you want to cover the tanks you have to use a flexible cover, or make your hard cover something that can be disassembled. Myself I just run without the cover.
