Structures to store/cover rv

Hubby wants to cover our rv with something...

He wants to be able to drive into this and not have to recover each time.

From what I gather there are:
temporary fabric structures
Aluminum quasi temporary (or maybe not so temporary structures)
Garage without the sides/pole barn

Are we missing anything? I want to spend as little as feasible. He doesn't want to have recover it with a tarp or actual cover.

Anyone have experience with the temporary fabric/vinyl structures and how long they last? Tarps I know won't last past two years (he has a boat).
