Stuck on frwy due to accident ahead. Let others use toilet?

A few years ago we got stuck just before the toll booths for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from about 12am to almost 5am due to an accident. After 20 mins we shut the truck down and rested until it opened back up. We had our TT and our friends behind us had their TT. In that time period we watched many people sneaking off into the bushes but neither of us had one person walk up and ask to use our facilities. In that situation at those hours we probably would have said no, but we were never even asked.
