Care to explain what a 'py hi':) is? :h

On my 31K the power cord has to be fed out through a py hi covered hole in the bottom of the compartment it's in. Even though it's a large compartment with good access, I found it a pain feeding and retrieving 25' or so of cord, through that hole. I just cut the cord, at the house end, maybe a foot or so from the Progressive EMS I added, and put a male end on the end closet to the house and a female end on the other side of the cut. Now I simply open the py hi and feed the female end of my "new" power cord up through the hole and plug into the male end of my considerably shorter pig tail power cord.
