I bought a BrakePro in 6/04 and yes it certainly had it's problems for far to long. However Roadmaster kept improving the design and after my 1/05 update it's usage was acceptable and after the 6/05 update it worked as advertised.
I'm not defending Roadmaster, just stating what happened to me. So I would not start out from the position that the newest features will have problems but would rather have a return policy and do a lot of initial testing which is actually a good idea for a lot of products.
