surge guard protectors
Thinking of buying a surge guard protector. Just wondering which brand to buy. What kind do you use and what, if any problems have you had with it?

The PI brand comes with a lifetime guaranty.
If your ride has a 50 amp service it may be a good idea to have such a device (go top of the line though). If it is a 30 amp then they are not so necessary. Since I'm 30 amp and boondock mostly, I'll probably never bother with one.
