This is my 5th camper, 1 pop-up, 3 TT's, and now a 5er. In all my campers, I've always lit the oven pilot light by hold the oven knob to the on position, waiting a few seconds, then igniting a fire...

Mine needs a match/lighter but Yes no reason they can not extend the sparker down to the oven .. except on most RV's the OVEN and teh stove top are different assemblies. only the valve for the oven is common to both.
