Surviving the cold without heat and without winterizing

I'm headed up to Colorado this weekend and will be spending the week in a hotel. That means I don't need to pay for an RV park with hookups, I can just leave it at some storage place. Yay!

However, Colorado is cold, and nights often get below freezing, and no hookups means no heat to fight the cold. I obviously don't want pipes to burst, but buying a ton of antifreeze and running through the whole winterization process just for one tiny week in the cold sounds like a giant hassle.

Can I take any sort of shortcut out of this? I figure if I drain my tank, then turn on the faucets until all of the water is gone, there's nothing left to freeze, right?
