The Suburban is a 1500 and I have a friction sway bar (although I like Lynnmor's description better).

Ralph - I thought the same thing - if it was a feature of the TV, I would not think it would be able to affect the trailer brakes through an aftermarket controller. I really don't know enough about interaction between the two to draw a definitive conclusion, though. It was definitely an active system, though. As much noise as it made I thought a wheel had broken or something! The Tekonsha makes the most sense, but if the controller had that kind of functionality I would think it would be pretty prominent on the feature list.
