Reese Dual Ca, Straightline is the best bang for the $$$$. It is well proven hitch and it works, A ProPride or Hensley will work but cost a bunch more.
As for not using a sway control device, it is really cheap insurance for that one time you get hit by a cross wind or a passing truck. That is not the time to wish you had sway control on the hitch.
You will hear from some that claim they do not use a sway control and never had a problem. What they should say is we have been lucky so far.
Even a friction type is not hard to install and only takes a minute to hook up.
As for drilling holes to install the hitch...no big deal if you know what you are doing.
