Tankless Water Heater - does it waste water?
Thinking about getting a tankless (Girard?) and the tech we spoke to said that it wastes about 2 gallons of water just by turning on the hot water to get it hot, and that once it cools down, it wastes...

Everything I have read, and told by my neighbor who needs to replace his tankless wh for the second time, they do not last. Neighbir is so fed up he is putting an "old school" tank wh in this time.
Even for the home I do not believe the hype of the tankless models.
