Tankless Water Heater - does it waste water?
Thinking about getting a tankless (Girard?) and the tech we spoke to said that it wastes about 2 gallons of water just by turning on the hot water to get it hot, and that once it cools down, it wastes...

I have yet to run into this cold water sandwich in my RV. I have only experienced it at my in-laws house where it takes a lot more water flow to kick on the tankless water heater.
