Wasn't all that long ago our Can dollar was higher than the US dollar. In the past few years the Can dollar has been around 25-30% lower, already significantly increasing the cost of US-made RVs and all sorts of stuff to us. Good thing we bought our TT in 2014 because today it'd cost thousands more. I hate to think what tariffs could cost us and do to trade.
Where do folks are get their info. and opinions from anyway - what they the hear on the news media? How can anyone make sense of it? Our son is working on a PHD in Europe in international economics and has a whole other take on it all. Personally, I think the tariffs are extremely ill-conceived and will lead to a serious recession, if not depression.
