Even Canada had a 270% on US dairy products.

The US has 350% tariff on tobacco, 130% on peanuts, 100% on European meat, just to name a few.
10% of Canada's dairy market is tariff free. In 2017 Canada imported 470 Million in dairy from the US and only exported 119 Million in dairy to the US. Thats almost a 400% surplus in America's favour.
Other countries would like to see auto tariffs eliminated because it would get rid of the 25% tariff the US has had on light trucks since 1963. That would be a big hit for the US domestic manufacturers, seeing as they have basically abandoned cars in favour of light trucks and SUV's. Meanwhile, metal tariffs are making US manufacturers less competitive.
