Exactly. I've read of individuals towing open utility trailers (2000lbs) where the tongue weight is too light and they are experiencing frequent sway events. Proper loading on all trailers is key!
A F150 with a tear drop trailer will be a good combo but be vigilant on making sure you are loading it with enough tongue weight and loading balanced, side to side. Do not expect a sway control device to correct a frequent sway problem. Adjust loads to avoid sway first. A sway control device is there for the unique sway event caused by outside forces.
