Teenagers getting bored

We have two 10 year old boys. For local weekend trips, we entertain each other with activities (hiking, swimming, biking, games). But reality is that they have made friends on 9 of 10 trips...once that happens, I'm free to sit in my chair the rest of the trip. ;)
On trips longer than 5 days, we do bring the Playstation. We let them play during times that my wife and I are pooped. Usually an hour or two in the hottest part of the day, or the same around bed time.
One of my favorite pictures is of my son playing his game while we were camping at "Arches". I had to run the generator to give them their play time.
Give and take. This system has worked well for us.
