Both articles used those words interchangeably - the reporters need to go back to Biology 101. That forklift driver is a lucky guy - 350,000 peeved wasps could have killed him.
I'm pretty sure they were actually bees, not wasps. Yellow jacket wasps would have a nest a fraction of that size and usually they are seasonal.
Drama and a lack of research are at the heart of that article.
