I have a metal rv/car port. It's 28 ft long, we just bought a 32 ft motorhome so are adding two more posts, a purlin, and 5 roof sheets to extend it. If you don't have to move it, it's nice to have a permanent cover that the wind won't take away and the weather won't destroy it. Mine was around $1500 and was easy to put up. Be sure to shop around.
