I had the exact same tent for a time. Yes, they are very easy to set-up. As far as a fly goes, I wouldn't worry about that as a tarp would do fine on the rare occasion it's needed.
One thing to be aware of though, watch your fingers !!! Keep them away from the pivot points as much as possible. Don't ask me how I know that.
