I'm no tent snob - really. I don't have an uber-light, titanium based, carbon-fiber backpack. I don't have $3000 hiking boots. And I don't have a $400 camp stove that's been tested on Everest.
I have owned cheap tents and I've owned good tents.
There's no way I'll ever spend money on a cheap tent again.
I know it'll get used infrequently, but I have to think the value, and the resale value of something like a Kelty would be better than the Coleman.
Granted Coleman is better than the Walmart brand, but still the only ones we carry now are Kelty brands.
