Testing Drinking Water
Does anyone know where I can find Test strips to check my incoming water for bacteria? I want to do the Bleach gig to my lines but really want to check the water afterwards.

There is no DIY test kit that can test for all contaminants, a lab is needed for that.garyemunson wrote:

There aren't bodies lying in the streets of Flint because they sipped the water.
Hysteria sells and the media delivers. The situation in Flint isn't much different then when a kid brings some Mercury from an old Thermometer into school. We used to play with it for a few minutes until we got bored and moved on to the next deadly play toy, maybe even taking a break to take a drink out of a green garden hose. Today, they close down the school and bring in a hazmat crew. The situation in Flint is an infrastructure failure, not poison water.

Skin is the largest organ human body has.
IF you shower in it, wash your hands/face in it, brush your teeth with it....you can drink it.
Same goes for dish washing, cooking with it.
