The red dye will dilute rather quickly......2-3 tanks of regular diesel will clear it out.
WHY were these 'mechanics' using red dye fuel to begin with :H
Now I have used some great mechanics that worked out of what use to be an old barn or building used for other purposes BUT they did have a 'real' mechanical shop/business.
Just get receipt for the work done and have them make a signed statement on business letterhead that THEY intentionally used red dye fuel from their own fuel storage for diagnostic purposes.
