The End!

Last week I called and cancelled our summer camp hosting positions. Just not fun any more when DW is in pain and cannot get out to help me.
The fiver is sold and should be delivered by Friday. So when it leaves it will be the first time since 1978 that we have been without an RV. It will take time to find something new to do.

  • A change of lifestyle is not an end. While you and we here have chosen the RV lifestyle for home, work or vacation, there does come a time when 'on the road' is best past tense. Roots are essential for growth
Yours and my friend new ful ltime ( chris) wish you the best.

? Are you staying in Ore Gun?
  • So sorry. Understand your situation. The doctors told me my husband would never travel again, (we were full-timers), so I traded the motorhome for a fifth-wheel and did buy a truck. Just in case I needed to move the fiver.
8 months later I drove US from FL to Branson, MO and back. He traveled for 7 more years. So, even tho one door closed, there just might be another one opening.
  • “This is not the end. This is not even the beginning of the end. But it is the end of the beginning.” Paraphrased from a Churchill speech.
  • Don't think of it as the end, but as a new chapter in your lives.
  • Sorry to hear, and I know lots of folks will miss you at the camps. Stay on the forum, we hope that you will still share your earned experience with the rest of us for many more years. Thanks for your work.
