An experienced RVer doesn't necessarily take care of their unit. When we sold our Endura, the couple that bought it (one was a car guy, owned a shop and all) said that the majority of what he had seen were seriously neglected, even from people who had been RVing for years. You are doing a disservice to newbies giving them a false sense of security that used is better and that an experienced RVer will have done everything the right way. The major reason a newbie should buy used is for the $ savings in case they decide it's not their style. And a major reason for buying new is warranty, especially if the buyer is not mechanically inclined. In either case, newbies should do extensive research to find out what type of unit suits their needs and whether or not it makes more sense to by new or used.
