Reading all these posts makes me think about where and when repairs are most needed - well, RV's spend most of the time on the road, away from home. So, the buyers that are not at home (most) when a part fails, are kinda up the creek.
In our on-the-road repair situations (only a few times), we generally get an RV site, then call a mobile repair guy that's recommended by the host. That's how most of the mobile repair guys get customers - LOCAL RV campgrounds. That means, he will most likely do good work, otherwise, he will burn his referrals and have very little business.
