We ordered a 2016 Rockwood in the fall of 2015. It arrived at the dealer early in December of 2015. The dealer let me inspect it on the back lot 3 hours after they accepted it from the transporter with my own provided ladder and creeper.
It was a total POS for more reasons than one, actually 19 major issues to which Rockwood agreed to $5K in warranty repairs....before we owned it. After 2 more months and Rockwood not being able to provide some of the parts needed which they would not let the dealer outsource, we pulled the plug early the following Feb. I gave the dealer options. Refund our $1K deposit or order another unit. They ordered another unit, it arrived late April as a 2017, and was head and shoulders a better build than the first one. The entire process took from mid Oct to the end of April.
Back to the original inspection. When they called and said it just arrived I told them I was coming over. They had every reason in the book why I couldnt from insurance requirements to they had not done their prep. They held that line until I said fine I'm still coming over and to have the $1K check ready as the deal is off. Then they suddenly seen things my way and let me inspect to my hearts content. Even ran a water hose out about 300' long and power.
