The edge of that front made for an entertaining afternoon for us in Southwest Utah. I looked out at one point and couldn't see 2/3's of the Pine Valley Mountains because of a dust storm (but not quite as distinct as the televised Phoenix one). 30 minutes later it was much clearer and our temps had dropped 15-degrees.
The T-storms were too far away for us to see, but we did get flash flood warnings for the Virgin River.
