Interesting comments! As for tires, the fifth wheel has the stock tires from Forest River I believe (its only two years old). Although I found it interesting that the front axle load range varied from the rear axle load range.
That can cause tracking instability on a multi axle suspension. Now add worn suspension bushings/pins cam make that instability issue more pronounced.

The truck has E range tires (just got these new last year, BF Goodrich A/T) with a 3ply sidewall. I run like 60psi up front and 75-80psi in the rear. The stock wheels for my truck are 16x6.5. Stock tire size is 245/75R16, but the tire shop highly recommended me to go 265/75/16 so I did. Are there any issues here that jump out at you?
Those narrow 6.5 wheels and a wide base LT265/75 tire with a 8" tread width isn't the best idea with a tire that carries a load.
On a load carrying tire/wheel assy the LT265/75 8' tread width works better with a 8" wheel. The LT265/75 tires recommended wheel width is 7.5 inch and a 7"-8" range.
Also new tires can exhibit tread roll when new till the tire breaks in. With some AT tires with deep treads and larger lugs and voids it may take longer to settle down.
Now add the different load range tires on the trailer issue.......
No wonder the truck/trailer doesn't handle as it should.
