Well If you want to put it that way then the OP specifically said that the trailer he was going to tow has a GVWR of 98XX. If that is the case then I will venture to say that my 2016 3500 SRW will tow and handle that trailer as good as any of the 2016 DRW pick-up trucks. With that said, if he ever encounters snow, my SRW will do better. If he wants to splurge and go through a tight drive thur, my SRW will do better (my mirrors will fold in with a push of a button. You can't fold in dually fenders.). All said and done a SRW will give better performance than a DRW truck pulling the trailer the OP put in his original post. ;)
