Many pop up trailers do not have holding tanks so they likely were running gray water onto the ground. Fortunately it's also true that MOST pop up trailer don't HAVE a fixed toilet so it probably WAS gray water. Why run it UNDER the TV? Probably because it's against RV Park rules to dump water at sites. When I use my pop up I have a 5 gallon jerry can into which my gray water is collected for disposal at the dump. SOME also use a blueboy (one of the few advantages I see to using them). Stupid of lazy, the result was the same, a mud hole in an RV parking lot.
