No, I wasn't camped next to them. But, unlike MANY of the posters replying - I HAVE CAMPED IN A POP UP AND DUMPED MY GRAY WATER ON THE GROUND. It is NOT going to kill anyone.
And actually - I have camped next to a European RV that also did not have holding tanks. Black or gray, and it had a toilet. Everything came out on the ground as we sat at our picnic table 10' away. THAT is worthy of discussing with the camper, but gray water... Gimme a break.
