It is possible that these campers simply did not or do not know that you can purchase totes to drain the gray water into to transport to a dump station. I wouldn't have been quick to jump on them, but I would have approached them in a friendly manner to suggest they change their practices.
You're kidding, right?
Why would he be kidding?
Hmmm - you "assume" (you know how that works, right?) they knew better.
Mmmm . . . no, I really don't care if they knew better, or if they rented their popups, or stole them, or whatever. I'm just dealing with the act.
And let's imagine that camper e camper kumbaya conversation:
- "Say, are you guys dumping your holding tanks onto the ground?"
- "Nope."
- "Ok, good night"
Actually, I think all of this is pretty funny in a disgusting kind of way and certainly not worthy of an EPA Superfund site cleanup. Nevertheless, what they dumped sure stinks.
Anyway, those of you that have dumped gray water or whatever as part of some odd 30, 40, or whatever-year tradition, please don't park next to me, ok?
Pop-ups don't have holding tanks.
Some pop-ups do have holding tanks.
