In doing the 2 yr RV vacation budget I ran up some figures just because I like to let my detail oriented nerd flag fly free,LOL.
The TT will cost $43.68 daily; put in $50.00 for gas costs (not sure how accurate that amt is); maintenance $1.40; $25.00 food + bev; $100.00 for incidentals; RV insurance: $1.62 as an add-on to an existing home policy. I'm not adding on most of the car costs simply because we'll probably be keeping the car after the trip is over.
Based on my calculations, RVing will be substantially less than other vacations we've taken excepting tent camping. As well it'll be a different experience for us which is priceless in it's own way.
