To respond to a previous post: I too will play the DA and ask what rest mandates are there for the "other drivers"? I say none, regular folks can drive as long as they want as HOS does not apply to them. When I'm delivering a motorhome, HOS applies. When I'm in my own truck towing my own condo, HOS does not apply.
I think a tight-wad RVer making a scene at a truck stop over a noise complaint is rude and should be thrown off the property, which can be done. These cheap-skate RVers, that want to RV for free, get tiresome.
But I must respond to the lady trucker and let her know that there are plenty of things truckers do that piss me off. Like one truck going 1/4 mph faster than another truck while trying to pass on a hill and holding up everyone else.
