Her ELD (electronic logging device) would violate her if she so much as moved the truck during her mandatory break.
Effective 11/2017 Comic books can only be used in pre 2000 trucks. Anything with an engine after 99 must have an ELD. Lot of brand new trucks with rebuilt 1999 motors hitting the road..waiting for my new one!!!! Lots of old crappy trucks too.
I could care less who parks at a travel plaza or rest area, they are available for all...but just so RVers understand... Truck drivers have a computer in their truck that counts down to 0. When it hits 0 they are in violation of the law. With the limited amount of places a truck driver can park, some are a little apprehensive about RVers taking a space when they could just as easily go down the road into a campground. Again, the truck driver can NOT just go to the next available spot...the computer has no wiggle room. An RVer has other options.
With this understanding, maybe you can see why SOME drivers may have a "don't come into my world and snoop around my truck" attitude.
