Lucky that part I can edit. Can not edit driving or stop the clock once it is started.
Big reason I retired, when the FMVSS regs went to electronic logs and mandated drive time. I didn't want to and had no reason to deal with that ****. About 6 months before that went into effect I tendered my retirement papers and quit trucking. Not entirely though. I own a 70 International Eagle double bunk conventional with a 3406 B and an 18 speed Roadranger and a 42 foot Tiumpte bottom dump grain hopper and I haul my grain and others to the elevator. It's well under the 100 air mile rule so all I need is a Class A CDL and current physical. Electronic log book, nope, hours of service, nope. Works just peach with me.
