My wife just suggested one plausible case where these types of names might make sense, especially given that the names often are applied to toyhaulers.
Several of her cousins are into racing. If it has a motor, they race it on the circuit. Stock cars, snowmobiles, dirt bikes. They also do a lot of travelling to the various tracks across many states, and of course take their toyhaulers with them. I suppose names like Dominator, Warrior, Avenger, etc. may make some sense when applied to the racing circuit. The make NO sense when applied to camping.
