They damaged our new car installing the base plate

We had our new car into General RV to have a base plate installed. Well two hours later I get the call. We had a slight problem that we're going to take care of. While drilling a hole the tech hit you...

If it were me, I would have made the installation of the base plate part of the deal from the auto dealer from the get go. They would much better know where and how to drill holes necessary for the install.
