They damaged our new car installing the base plate

We had our new car into General RV to have a base plate installed. Well two hours later I get the call. We had a slight problem that we're going to take care of. While drilling a hole the tech hit you...

They weren't even designed when purchased.


Excuse me, but I don't even know what that means. So they designed a base plate in the very short period of time since you bought the vehicle? Wow! That is unusual, or did I miss something?
