Glad you had a good trip, dodge guy. Got a chuckle out of your comments about "nothing to see." If you had to make tracks, then that is somewhat true; I will say it took me 5 times across Nebraska before I learned to appreciate the subtle changes in the terrain, vegetation, etc., enroute. Lots of pioneer-related places/activities in NEbraska, but again - if you were on a strict timeline, you wouldn't have had time to enjoy them.
Definitely agree, watching the other dudes in Yellowstone is often fun, sometimes scary, and always interesting. The number of Asian tourists has exploded over the last decade or so. (In fact, I suspect that the increased visitation in the park is not due to Americans so much as to thousands of busloads of Asians.) Those signs depicting how to use toilets weren't there before 3-5 years ago, by the way.
