We, too, spent two weeks in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons NPs, and could have stayed longer if not for an employer. It takes 3-4 days in either to discover the good stuff, in slightly less crowded spots. My wife had never seen a moose before we managed to find three of them alongside a back road near the southern end of Yellowstone. We stopped the car and watched them while they regarded us suspiciously. You've never gotten the stink-eye until a moose has given you one. (And before anybody says anything, we did not get out of the car and try to get closer to the moose. It chose the distance to approach us. I/We are not THOSE idiots.)
