I once traveled south to north across the country on a trip to Mt. Rushmore...
I never thought too highly of traveling across Kansas.
But...
Nebraska was so boring, brown, desolate, and devoid of absolutely everything that it had me longing for the rolling hills, greenery, vast expanses, and the general beauty of the grasslands of Kansas.
I actually look back FONDLY now on that drive across Kansas...

Nebraska is so bad that it makes KANSAS interesting.
And what the hell is this Arbor Day cr*p???
Not a d*mn tree in sight.
Nebraska? Nothankya.
