DH said the same thing. Its a 21' trailer so small awning but that doesnt mean It wouldnt pack a punch. There wasnt a wind issue but we are guessing the rain pooled rather than running off the angle. Had we been awake and outdoors we likely would have seen it happening.
Meanwhile our 16 yo slept through the whole thing!
ETA the next day our friends had a tree limb crash down atop his 2011 TT. His daughter said it shook the trailer. She thought someone had hit them. He had the same reaction. Better the limb bounce off the trailer than one of the many people on the ground. When nature attacks!
