Many years (and 1 RV) ago, I was staying at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone when a storm came through, including hail. Although the hail wasn't big,that was as big a racket as I have ever heard; I thought the roof was going to crash down on us (no damage or dents, just a lot of noise). The dogs were terrified. I can't imagine what it would have been like if the roof had been aluminum instead of fiberglass.
