Since we have an aluminum roof we make sure to never park under an oak with acorns. Even rain is pretty crashing, lol.
One time while we were sleeping we heard a pretty loud crash and feared for our roof. Didn't find out till morning that a large dead branch fell out of a tree and dented the hood and left front fender of a toad parked not too far from our bedroom windows. Now we always look up for dead branches (as well as acorns and pine cones).
We like shade, but not stuff crashing onto our roof! ;)
