We were in a campground once where another camper was making all sorts of party noise most of the night. Things quieted down after 2am. About 3:30am a HUGE explosion rattled everything in the campground. Looking out the door, sparks where raining down from more than 50 feet up in the air. It was eventually discovered someone had taken a can of green beans and tossed them in the partyers dieing embers of their campfire. When the can got hot enough, it exploded from the pressure build up and sent sparks into the heavens.
It could have been much worse; someone could have been out near the fire and the sparks could have started a major fire. It was a really dumb stunt by whoever did it, but the results were that the party folks packed up and left immediately. I guess they figured someone was even more nuts than they were.
So this mysterious explosion happens and you just happen to know the destroyed can was "green beans" ? Oh yeah? Do you happen to think they were on sale, too? LOL.
I am thinking about the MESS that hot flaming green beans would make out of a camper...
