In a lot of cases it's not ignorance. In the real world way less than 1% of people pulling trailers ever visit an RV board to get OCD about going to cat scales, adjusting or debating hitches, checking tire pressures hourly while adjusting them to the .5 of a pound, or some of the other general foolishness.

Even the most popular RV boards like FRF that claim 110K members might have 2500 active ones. They estimate 9 million registered RVs in the US.

Sounds like some RVers dont' understand everything that goes into RVing. Or could it be like people buying houses that really can't afford to own a house so things go unattended to?

If I had been on the road for 250 miles today, I'd be sitting under my awning watching the scenery and drinking a beer.

I've seen a lot more F150's with fifth wheels this year too. Can't imagine they're all max payload.

Many of the kids coming from or going to Oceano Dunes are TH nose down despite all their buggies in the back. Besides unsafe, looks dumb.

On my last trip out, I saw a fifth-wheel roof bubbled up. Sad. My current bumper pull is level.. no reason for it not to be? With all the modern inventions in today's rv world, trailer should ride even. Surely the owner has to notice it.
