Are you calling anyone who is wearing an agency shirt a Ranger? In NY a Rangers are Quasi police, nature interepters,whose main job is to patrol the park,provide assistance to the park police and host nature walks. 70% of the park employees you see are part time minimum wage seasonal summer help.
I have never seen a job that couldn't be done cheaper or more efficiently by someone observing from the outside with no actual knowledge of the job.
