Heard on business news this morning that RV sales are booming. Good for the industry but possibly bad for those of us who are already finding it increasingly difficult to find campsites.
Could be that some of those unaffected by the coronavirus-induced economic downturn find self-contained, socially-distanced travel to low-density rural areas an appealing option, producing a short-term surge in RV sales. Long term, many will have less money and/or be reserving what they have for essentials. Should be more of a buyer’s market as time goes on, at least until a solid recovery kicks in.
