Thoughts on how to patch roof leak with Eternabond

I was on my trailer roof last weekend and I noticed bumps under the rubber roof that were never there before. I already knew they were going to be from a leak and slicing open a bump or two confirmed ...

If it is at or very near the joint you may as well open the whole joint up to repair the leak.The roof wood plywood or what ever likely is the same joint so if you end up replacing wood you will need to get there also.Redo the whole joint.I sure hope you don't find a huge wet area all along the joint.
